TICA Waives Membership Fees

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is evident that all businesses that make up Thailand’s diverse MICE industry, from hotels and venues to DMCs and EMCs, have been hard hit by the outbreak.

As a result, TICA would like to lend its support by waiving membership fees for this year. This announcement comes as a result of a unanimous decision brought forth during the recent Board of Directors meeting with the hope that this waiver will alleviate some of the financial burden felt by industry members.

For members who have paid fees for this year, the funds will be used for membership payment for the following year.

Trial Membership Programme

During the Board of Directors meeting, it was also decided that TICA would offer free membership to further expand its database, to ensure that the association is inclusive of all those who are a part of the MICE fraternity.

However, to keep TICA’s core values intact, the association has initiated the ‘Trial Membership Programme,’ where existing members can recommend a fellow MICE stakeholder. Once approved, new members must pay a THB 1,500 registration fee to enjoy free membership from now till the end of 2020.
