Phuket Shines in Southern MICE Destination Update

DAY 1: A WARM WELCOME TO PHUKET'S FINEST
The first day of TICA's Southern MICE Destination Update began with a
warm reception at Avani+ Mai Khao Phuket Suites. Attendees were
impressed by the hotel's spacious rooms, villas, cutting-edge
amenities, and diverse dining options. The day continued with a visit to
Melia Phuket Mai Khao, a beachfront resort showcasing the latest in
wellness-inspired luxury from the Spanish hospitality group.
Participants then checked in at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Chao Fha
Phuket, known for its blend of productivity and relaxation, ideal for
business travelers.
The day was capped off with a taste of authentic Southern-style cuisine
at Tu Kab Khao Restaurant Phuket, and a delightful visit to Tian Tian
Phuket Dessert Cafe, known for its innovative sweet creations.
DAY 2: CULTURAL AND THRILLING ADVENTURES
Day two began with a delicious breakfast at Punte, Phuket Local Street
Food, featuring local Southern specialties. Attendees explored the
historical sights of Old Phuket Town before heading to Hanuman World for
an exhilarating zip-line experience, showcasing Phuket's potential for
incentive and team-bonding activities. Lunch at Three Monkeys Restaurant
offered even more Southern delicacies.
After another inspection of the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Chao Fha,
participants visited the contemporary Tree O'clock Gallery & Restaurant
in a rubber plantation for pre-dinner drinks and a site inspection. The
day ended spectacularly at Carnival Magic, Thailand's first cultural
carnival park.
DAY 3: SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES AND NETWORKING
The final day featured a sustainable workshop by Poonsook Craft,
highlighting Phuket's green initiatives by transforming plastic waste
into jewellery and other products. This was followed by a business
exchange and Phuket showcase at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Chao Fha,
providing opportunities for networking and idea-sharing. A lavish lunch
at the hotel's Hong Bao Restaurant with local stakeholders concluded
the event, leaving participants with memorable impressions of Phuket as
a premier business events destination.
