The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), in partnership with Visa, T2P Co., Ltd., and Central Group, has launched the "Thailand MICE Privileges" campaign. This initiative promotes Thailand's MICE industry via the "Thailand MICE Visa Prepaid Card," offering exclusive benefits to MICE travellers and SME operators. These include shopping vouchers at Central and Robinson, 17% off Centara Hotels, 15% off limousine services, and up to 60% off transport. Other perks include dining discounts, free luggage storage and delivery, and reduced rates on hotel stays, spa packages, and meeting services. The launch took place at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit.

Mr. Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, TCEB President, said Thailand aims to be a leading MICE destination. TCEB is working to boost the industry's economic contribution through partnerships and innovative products. The new 'Thailand MICE Privileges' campaign offers exclusive benefits for business travellers via a prepaid VISA card. These include discounts on dining, shopping, hotels, and more, encouraging longer stays. Cardholders also gain access to TCEB's business network.

TCEB anticipates that the Thailand MICE Visa Prepaid Card will significantly benefit business entrepreneurs, MICE travellers, and SME operators. By 2025, the bureau aims for 30,000 cardholders, with a 5% increase in per-person spending. This launch aligns with TCEB's broader goal of attracting 34 million MICE travellers by 2025. The combined spending of domestic and international travellers is expected to reach THB 200 billion, generating THB 400 billion in economic benefits and positioning Thailand as a high-value MICE destination.

Mr. Punnamas Vichitkulwongsa, Visa Thailand's Country Manager, expressed excitement about the new prepaid commercial card partnership with TCEB. He noted the growing popularity of commercial card payments in Thailand and Visa's commitment to empowering businesses. The card, issued by T2P, offers convenient top-up options, global acceptance, and exclusive benefits. With a THB 350 issuance fee, it's a secure and accessible financial solution for businesses.
