TICA was proud to represent Thailand's thriving MICE industry at the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau's (TCEB) MICE Roadshow in Seoul on Tuesday, 29th April 2025. Held at the distinguished Le Méridien Seoul, this pivotal event brought together 35 influential Meetings and Incentives buyers from South Korea with 15 esteemed TICA member organisations, fostering a day of significant engagement and collaboration.

The roadshow provided an exceptional platform for Thailand's MICE sector to showcase its latest offerings and innovative developments directly to key South Korean buyers. The day's agenda included focused table-top business sessions and networking, facilitating new connections and strengthening existing partnerships. Highlights included opening remarks from Ms. Jaruwan Suwannasat, Executive Advisor, TCEB, a comprehensive Thailand presentation by Mr. Napat Watthanasan, Manager - Korea Market, TCEB, and a unique Thai-inspired Cocktail Making Workshop led by Korean bartender "KIMTENDER." The event concluded with a networking dinner, welcome remarks from Mr. Tanee Sangrat, The Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea, and a lucky draw.

This direct interaction between Thai suppliers and high-potential Korean buyers underscored Thailand's position as a premier MICE destination, showcasing the country's commitment to delivering world-class business events supported by outstanding venues, services, and hospitality. "Team Thailand" demonstrated the industry's strength, featuring a diverse array of partners, including top hotels from Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Pattaya, alongside the Andamanda Phuket venue, TICA, and Thai Airways International.

The success of the 2025 roadshow builds on last year's momentum, marking a continued effort to expand Thailand's presence within the competitive South Korean market.
