The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) recently welcomed over 2,500 delegates from Infinitus (China) as part of its Group Incentive Travel strategy aimed at the Chinese market, further cementing Thailand's status as a top MICE destination in Asia.
The Infinitus group visited Thailand from 12 to 19 May, arriving in three separate groups and exploring distinct routes—Phuket-Bangkok, Chiang Mai-Bangkok, and Pattaya-Rayong-Bangkok—before coming together in Bangkok for a seminar and gala at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) on 17 May.
TAT Deputy Governor for Digitalisation, Research and Development, Mr Kittipong Prapattong, presided over the gala, which featured a traditional Thai cultural performance and a welcome video expressing thanks to Infinitus for choosing Thailand repeatedly over the past decade.
A VIP welcome was organised on 13 May at Suvarnabhumi Airport for Infinitus executives arriving from Guangzhou. They were greeted by Mr Chuwit Sirivejkul, TAT's Regional Director for East Asia, alongside TAT staff and representatives from Guangzhou Huiyue International Travel Service.
This visit is part of TAT's wider strategy to attract high-quality incentive travel from China, with more major corporate groups expected throughout 2025.
Founded in 1992, Infinitus is a leading Chinese health brand specialising in herbal supplements. The company regularly rewards top-performing representatives with international trips, continuing its strong partnership with Thailand following a similar visit in 2024 involving over 3,000 delegates.
