TICA and the College of Tourism and Hospitality of Sripatum University have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop the potential of the MICE industry in Thailand on 6 February 2018. The focus of the MOU is on sustainable growth of the MICE sector in close collaboration with the College of Tourism and Hospitality of Sripatum, the first institution to partner with TICA in the area of sustainability. Dr. Ratchaneeporn Puukaporn Pookaman, President of Sripatum University said that the MOU shows the commitment of Sripatum to work with industries outside the university - this has always been the university’s policy and vision.
It’s a wrap! The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) Australia Road Show 2018 was a great success and bodes well for Thailand’s MICE industry in the new year. TICA has completed yet another skills training course, this time on MICE presentation skills: "Presenting Effectively to Accomplish Set Goals" was presented at Bangkok's Pullman Bangkok Hotel G on 22 and 23 February 2018. The key speaker was Bannaros Sirivejabandhu,Cluster Director (Sales Training) at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.
