The 1st TICA Board of Directors Meeting
TICA held their first Board of Directors Meeting of 2019 on 2nd May at JW Marriott Bangkok, which was divided into two sessions. The first session consisted of determining ideas and marketing strategies to boost future growth. In the second session, an election was held to appoint TICA’s President and each committee’s Chairperson.

Congratulations to Khun Sumate Sudasna for unanimously being re-elected as TICA’s President for the sixth term. His continuous aim of togetherness and dedication to develop Thailand’s MICE industry will allow TICA to reach new heights.

Congratulations to the newly elected Board of Directors who we believe will help us reach our goal of driving membership growth as well as development in the MICE industry.

“Meetings Mean Business!”

Thailand MICE Roadshow 2019 in India
Thailand MICE Roadshow 2019 in India took place on 23rd and 25th April in Kolkata and Lucknow, respectively. Thai businesses and MICE activities were discussed by TCEB and the Thai private sector during this two-day event. This year, TICA along with eight member organisations from various industries had the opportunity to network and introduce their products and services to the international market.

TICA's Quarterly Luncheon
TICA's Quarterly Luncheon, held at Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok on 27th March 2019, was an unparalleled success. The renowned Leslie Choudhury gave an inspiring talk on the power of the mind to achieve success by focusing on the topic: “The most effective tool in your brain – are you using it?”. Over 100 participants came together to discuss the power of the mind to turn impossibilities into possibilities.

TICA participated at IT&CM China 2019 on 20th March with over 15 exhibitors from Thailand to showcase our products and services to the Chinese MICE industry as well as professionals from all over the world.
