Thailand MICE Youth Challenge - Final Stage (July 9)
Mahidol University International College (MUIC) together with Thailand Incentive and Convention Association (TICA) proudly presented “Thailand MICE Youth Challenge 2020” (TMYC2020), a national event proposal and presentation competition for students. The third event in its series since 2018, this year’s event on the 9th of July was a hybrid event partly held at the Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit Hotel and partly livestreamed, due to COVID-19 restrictions. The competition was supported by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), as an opportunity for their student chapter to gain more experience in the MICE industry.

There were 19 team applicants with 15 submitting completed proposals, and the assessment criteria this year including consideration of the new normal and the use of MICE technology. The winning teams were Illuminate team from Assumption University, MICE-ing Stars from Mahidol University International College, and The New MITI from Kasetsart University, all of whom will represent Thailand in international MICE competitions. There was also a popular vote award voted by the live-stream audience.


Multi Skills vs Multi Tasks (June 8)
Hosted by MICE industry guru Chooleng Goh, this enlightening webinar focused on the importance of multitasking and multiskilling. With companies shrinking in staff size, it’s more crucial than ever that remaining employees have a multitude of different skills through appropriate training.

Introduction to Customer Experienced Design led by Carl and Mathias from H&H Works was an engaging human-centric learning session that featured a variety of different methods and techniques to highlight and refine areas of improvement, leading to increased conversions and reduced service costs.
