Campaign launched to promote Thailand as a unique destination for incentive travel
The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) today launched a new campaign titled, “MICE Magnificent Themes” to promote Thailand as a unique destination for incentive
travel for the fast-growing Oceania market.
The launch, made at Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME) 2017 in Melbourne, Australia is a key pillar of TCEB’s acclaimed “Thailand CONNECT the World” initiative.
This campaign highlights Thailand’s diverse smorgasbord of rich experiences for business travellers of all kinds. For business travellers in particular, this means that trips in Thailand go
far beyond mere gatherings and become experiences to treasure for a lifetime.
TCEB’s President, Mr Nopparat Maythaveekulchai launched the campaign.
“We’re proud to introduce TCEB’s MICE Magnificent campaign, which carries special relevance for delegates attending AIME 2017.
“The program highlights the diversity of Thailand’s myriad attractions for international MICE travellers, and offers event planners a dazzling array of destinations, promoting the
attractions of the country’s key MICE cities.
“These key cities include Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Khon Kaen, as well as exciting new up-and-coming destinations such as Chiang Rai, Krabi, Surat Thani (Koh Samui),
Nakhon Pathom, Nakhon Ratchasima (Khao Yai), Prachuap Khiri Khan (Hua Hin), Phetchaburi (Cha-am) and Songkhla (Hat Yai),” Mr Maythaveekulchai said.
The campaign’s themes focus on the fascinating history and culture of Thailand, such as escapes to ancient temples dotted across Bangkok, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, and Phetchaburi
(Cha-am) as well as treasured team building events hosted in destinations as varied as the famed seaside party town of Pattaya, to the Thailand’s northern capital of Chiang Mai, to the
Kingdom’s famed Royal Projects nationwide in locations such as Bangkok and Nakhon Pathom.
Alternatively, unforgettable exhilarating adventures can be experienced among the treetops or lush mountain ranges, while CSR and Green meetings can offer activities ranging from
conservation and wildlife to sustainability and beachside eco-activities.
Also on offer are lavish luxury experiences, from boutique getaways in Thailand’s enchanting North, to uber-luxurious 6-star accommodation in the country’s south, as well as
culinary journeys, where incentives travellers can discover the unique tastes that have earned the Kingdom its reputation as the ‘Kitchen of the World’, through cooking classes,
market and organic farm visits.
Finally, of course, are the experiences called beach bliss, which can be enjoyed beside the turquoise waters of both the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand.
Unifying all of these varied destinations and activities is Thailand’s signature service, delivered nationwide with passionate hearts and unforgettable smiles.
