Protocol & In-house Event Management (13 July 2021)

The Thailand Incentive and Convention Association (TICA) are hosting an online training session titled ‘Protocol & In-house Event Management’ on the 13th of July 2021. The event will be separated into four sections, each covering distinct topics related to hosting events in the ‘new normal’ as discussed by facilitators and speakers from the MICE fraternity. Examples of topics to be discussed include sustainable events, achieving the right certifications for venues, new codes of conduct and standards of hygiene, crowd management, and more. The training session will then end with a Q&A session. More details to be followed soon.

Convention Bid Agent: Beginner and Intermediate Program (14-16 July 2021)

Between the 14th and 16th of July 2021, the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) are hosting the ‘Convention Bid Agent: Beginner and Intermediate Program’ online training course in partnership with TICA. Produced by the International Association of Professional Congress Organizers (IAPCO) with Nicole Walker and Loren Christie as facilitators, the course aims to help academia, MICE operators, and interested individuals who want to broaden their expertise and upskill to become a part of our Thailand bidding team. The course will include highlight topics such as planning and developing a successful bid, how to hunt for a bid, understanding bid criteria, and more.
