Support - MICE Sustainability Thailand Forum 2015
Thailand hosts this year’s MICE Sustainability Thailand Forum, at the Athénée Crystal Hall, Plaza Athénée Bangkok hotel, on Tuesday August 25th, 2015.
The MICE Sustainability Thailand Forum 2015, entitled ‘Moving Forward: Now or Out’, is set to take place on the 25th of August of this year, at the beautiful Athénée Crystal Hall, Plaza Athénée Bangkok hotel. The forum begins at 8:30am and continues to 4pm (16:00 hrs), with lots of interesting activities and speakers.
Those attending the forum will receive insightful perspectives on how important sustainability is to the global economy. Topics covered include the global trend of sustainability in the MICE industry, which is of immense importance, as well as what will happen if the MICE industry does not implement sustainability now. Delegates and visitors will hear a range of Thai and international speakers discussing these topics and others. There will also be a live demonstration exhibition to showcase easy steps on how to organise sustainable events.
All Thai MICE players are invited and encouraged to attend, such as organisers, freight forwarders, stand contractors, as well as executives of venues, hotels, catering companies, tour agencies, and other service providers. Interested members of the public are also strongly encouraged to attend. It’s a perfect opportunity for businesses to discover the benefits of implementing sustainability to international levels in their day-to-day operations.
"We now live in the era of sustainability, where sustainable practices aren't just a trend or nice things to have, but a requirement for future success. Those businesses who miss out will fast become outdated in the rapidly growing mice industry." Nichapa Yoswee, MICE Capabilities Director sat TCEB.
Sustainability is now more than just a “trend”. Having adopted sustainable practices since 2008, TCEB hosted the first Sustainability Thailand Forum in 2013, to raise awareness among Thailand MICE industry. By taking certain actions we can all adopt a sustainable and carbon neutral lifestyle to minimize our impact on the planet.
