America. TCEB has positioned the country as Asia’s top Bleisure destination, further strengthening the delivery of quality business venues and innovative leisure activities for US-based event
organisers. The US remains a strong market, eighth on the top 10 country list, supplying 42,681 MICE visitors in 2016.

Another interesting breaking news that is sure to create plenty of waves amongst the ASEAN business and investment communities is billionaire Richard Liu’s proclamation of setting his sights
on Thailand to make it a major hub for his e-commerce expansion in Asia. Coming to Bangkok in early November, Mr. Liu’s expansion plans will no doubt make Thailand a better equipped
destination that will score higher in the world’s MICE market, both digitally and delightfully.
