Thailand's sustainable conference model adopted at ICCA Congress 2023

ICCA Congress 2023 in Bangkok concluded with the success on sustainability legacy. In cooperation with ICCA, Thailand exercised the practice of sustainable food sourcing and management during the congress that has become a model for Bangkok Pledge on Gastronomy Sustainability to be launched at ICCA Congress 2024 in Abu Dhabi.

Another key result for the sustainable congress in Bangkok is the reduction of 505 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent through all domestic activities of the gathering. The impacts are achieved against the record-breaking performance of ICCA Congress 2023, which attracted 1,123 delegates from 80 countries, making it the largest congress ever held in the Asia Pacific region and the third largest globally.

ICCA Congress 2023 was held between 12 and 15 November 2023 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC).
