Thailand Shines at FITUR 2025, Winning Best Stand Award for Cultural Excellence and Sustainability


The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has won the Best Stand Award at FITUR 2025 for its impressive display of Thai culture and sustainability. The TAT stand featured traditional crafts and showcased key tourism destinations.

Thailand Triumphs at FITUR 2025

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) gained international recognition by winning the Best Stand Award at FITUR 2025, held in Madrid, Spain, from 22-26 January. Outshining 156 other countries, TAT's exhibit highlighted a distinctive fusion of Thai culture and sustainability. The stand was designed using traditional and eco-friendly elements, such as wooden lanterns and woven crafts, which captivated international visitors.

TAT's Commitment to Sustainability

TAT Governor, Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, expressed pride in her team's creativity and commitment to sustainability. She highlighted the innovative installation, which featured fabrics like tie-dye and pha khao ma, while also showcasing key tourist destinations. This display underscored Thailand's dedication to sustainable tourism and cultural heritage as part of the Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025 celebration.

Engaging Experiences and Global Recognition

Thailand's stand featured the "5 Must-Do Experiences," including Muay Thai, Bo Sang umbrella painting, and Thai-inspired cocktails. The live demonstrations illustrated Thailand's soft power, earning widespread admiration. Winning the Best Stand in FITUR 2025's Countries/Regions category, TAT's exhibit was praised for its outstanding design, storytelling, and eco-conscious practices, reaffirming Thailand's position as a premier travel destination.
