TICA is pleased to announce its official strategic partnership with EXPOPASS.
As an association committed to advancing Thailand's MICE industry through industry development and collaboration between the public and private sectors, TICA continues to explore initiatives that strengthen operational capabilities and innovation across the sector.
Under this collaboration, EXPOPASS, a provider of online event management systems including Event Connex and Event Connex Lite, will support TICA through a trial application for event registration. The initiative aims to introduce practical digital solutions for selected TICA events while promoting the platform to TICA members.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by Khun Prachoom Tantiprasertsuk, President of TICA, and Khun Attaphon Thenthaisong, Chief Operating Officer of EXPOPASS.

TICA organised its Sales & Marketing Training Course on 5 March 2026 at the Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok, welcoming a full house of participants.
The session provided practical insights on pitching, proposal development, personalised services for international clients, and selling sustainability. Expert speakers Sutthiporn Fongmool, ChooLeng Goh, Sukamal Mondal, and Naruemon Putchakarn shared real-world strategies, followed by an engaging panel discussion.
The event concluded with appreciation to everyone who joined and contributed to a valuable day of learning and exchange.

TICA will hold its 43rd Annual General Meeting (AGM 2026) and Membership Quarterly Luncheon on Thursday, 19 March 2026, at the InterContinental Bangkok.
The AGM will present a report on the Association's activities and achievements over the past year, together with an overview of its strategic direction and action plans for 2026. Members are encouraged to attend this key annual milestone and remain actively engaged in shaping Thailand's Business Events industry.
The meeting will be followed by the Membership Quarterly Luncheon, offering an opportunity for industry insight, professional exchange and valuable networking.
A highlight of the programme will be the session entitled "Thailand MICE Brand: From TCEB to a Synergised Industry," presented by Khun Nooch Homrossukhon, Director of Corporate Image and Communications at the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB). The session will explore the evolution of the Thailand MICE Brand into a unified industry movement and outline how TICA members can actively participate through key platforms, including MEET THAI, a flagship initiative where collaboration is translated into meaningful collective impact.

TICA joined AIME 2026, held from 9-11 February 2026 in Melbourne, as part of the Thailand Pavilion led by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB).
AIME 2026 welcomed approximately 1,500 hosted and visitor buyers, reflecting an 8% increase from 2025, alongside 700 exhibiting organisations from around 30 countries and territories, marking a 5% increase year on year. The majority of hosted buyers were from Australia and New Zealand (78%), followed by Asia (19%), highlighting the strategic importance of the ANZ market.
Key sectors driving Business Events demand included retail and FMCG, construction and home maintenance, technology, franchise and MLM, automotive, health and beauty, logistics, legal services, professional services, finance, and real estate. Average group sizes ranged from 20 to 200 participants for incentive groups, 50 to 500 participants for corporate meetings, and 400 to 4,000 participants for association conventions.
TICA's participation reinforced Thailand's strong value proposition for the ANZ market and supported continued engagement with buyers across corporate, incentive, and association segments.

The TICA Executive Committee hosted a luncheon to warmly welcome and congratulate the newly appointed Senior Vice Presidents of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Dr. Jaruwan Suwannasat and Dr. Suratsa Thongmee, at Baan Dusit Thani on 9 February 2026.

On 5 February 2026 at the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel, the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) brought together industry leaders to share updates, strategic directions, and collaboration plans for Thailand's MICE industry in 2026.
The programme opened with remarks by Mr. Pasu Loharjun, Chairman of TCEB, followed by a keynote address by Dr. Supawan Teerarat, President of TCEB, on The Shifting Landscape of Thailand's MICE Industry in 2026.
The strategy session featured insights from TCEB's leadership team, including Mrs. Jaruwan Suwannasat on Shift for Impact, Ms. Suratsa Thongmee on Change for Growth, and Mr. Salanroj Sutaschuto on Meaningful Trust.
The session concluded with a panel discussion titled From Public Strategy to Industry Unity, featuring Khun Prachoom Tantiprasertsuk, President of TICA, and Mr. Kavin Kittiboonya, Vice President of the Thai Exhibition Association.
The event provided a productive and forward-looking platform for alignment and collaboration within Thailand's MICE industry.

The Thailand Incentive and Convention Association (TICA), in collaboration with the Association of Domestic Travel (ADT), organised the TICA x ADT Business Matching Session on 13 January 2026 at the The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam.
The session marked an energetic start to the Year of the Horse, bringing together industry stakeholders to explore new business opportunities and strengthen professional connections.
