  1. 42nd TICA Annual General Meeting


    TICA's 42nd AGM was held on Wednesday, 26 March 2025, at the Grand Ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok Hotel, bringing together over 200 members and associates. The bi-annual election of TICA's new Board of Directors took place, alongside key updates from the Convention Promotion Foundation and various committee reports.

    Highlights included opening remarks by President Khun Sumate Sudasna, a forward-looking session by Khun Jittanun Techasarin from TCEB, and presentations from the Capabilities Development, Marketing, and Membership & PR Committees, as well as the 2024 Treasurer's Report.

    The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of direction and productive networking among industry leaders and rising professionals across Thailand's MICE sector.

  2. TICA's 2025 - 2026 Board of Directors Held Its Inaugural Meeting


    TICA convened the first meeting of its newly appointed Board of Directors for the 2025 - 2026 term on 9 April 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Sukhumvit Hotel. The hybrid session welcomed 30 participants onsite and 6 online, marking the beginning of a new chapter under the leadership of President Khun Prachoom Tantiprasertsuk.

    Joined by Vice Presidents Khun Kritsanee Srisatin, Khun Bert Chamrernnusit, Khun Boontawee Jantasuwan, and Khun La-iad Bungsrithong, along with Secretary General Khun Patranuch Sudasna and Treasurer Khun Kritsana Janyasakulwong, the meeting set the tone for the term ahead with a clear focus on sustainable growth, mentorship, and member engagement.

    Committee chairs also shared updates on upcoming initiatives: Capabilities Development, Marketing, and Membership & PR - each aligned with TICA's commitment to knowledge-sharing and strengthening Thailand's position as a leading MICE destination.

    With the presence and continued guidance of President Emeritus Khun Sumate Sudasna, the Board reaffirmed its collective vision to empower members and elevate the business events industry through collaboration and innovation.

    Looking ahead, the Board is committed to advancing TICA's mission and fostering greater engagement within the MICE sector, ensuring a future of continued success and growth for both TICA and its members.

  3. TICA Empowers Emerging Talent at Next Gen MICE Clinic During MICE Day 2025


    On Friday, 25 April 2025, TICA hosted the Next Gen MICE Clinic at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, as part of MICE Day 2025. The session, designed specifically for emerging professionals with fewer than five years' experience in the MICE/Business Events industry, offered a valuable platform for networking, learning, and mentorship.

    Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive direct insights from experienced mentors, connect with peers, and build confidence through open conversations and shared experiences. Conducted in Thai, the session focused on empowering the next generation of leaders in the MICE sector.

    In addition to the clinic, MICE Day 2025 featured two key panel discussions: “MICE: The Dynamic Growth Engine for the Thai Economy”, moderated by Mr Nakarin Wanakijpaibul, CEO & Editor-in-Chief of THE STANDARD, and “Innovating MICE Experience with Local Thai Wisdom”, moderated by Ms Hunny Cholaphansa Narula, a high-profile news anchor. Together, they ensured a well-rounded and inspiring experience for all attendees.

    The event served as an excellent opportunity for young professionals to enhance their knowledge, expand their networks, and contribute to shaping the future of Thailand's MICE industry.
